Vista Residences, the condominium arm of Vista Land, is building two condominiums specifically designed for student living in the Taft avenue area and will begin work on a third one this month.
Vista Plumeria -- named after the flower commonly known as kalachuchi which once grew in profusion around Manila -- is Vista’s 11th tower in its University Series.
The development will rise near the Taft-Quirino-San Andres intersection, almost at the foot of the Quirino LRT station.
The Vista Residences’ University Series is a collection of mid- to high-rise condominiums designed and located specifically to give students better living options while in school.
These include the Crown Tower University Belt in Espana and just across it, the second property in the area called 878 Espana; Vista 309 Katipunan across Ateneo de Manila University and Vista Taft beside Dela Salle University which was recently conferred by the Philippine Property Awards with Highly Commended Best Affordable Condominium Project (Metro Manila) and Best Universal Design Development Awards.
The group also launched Vista GL Taft, Vista Heights situated in Legarda and Vista Brenthill in Baguio, Vista Recto and Vista Pointe, the group’s second condominium project in Katipunan avenue.
The University Series condominiums are equipped with study areas and common spaces.
Built as a joint venture with the Yupangco Family, Vista Plumeria is ideally located for students and teachers from De La Salle University, College of St. Benilde, Arellano University, St. Scholastica’s College, Philippine Women’s University, Philippine Christian University, University of the Philippines – Manila and St. Paul University.
The 40-storey condominium will have a 24-hour guarded lobby and reception area. There will be a CCTV system in the public areas as well as fire and smoke alarms. A back-up generator will provide.
The ground floor is a commercial area with services like laundry, a convenience store, ATMs and restaurants.
There will be 32 residential floors, four for parking, and an amenity area at the sixth floor. This area will offer an E-Library, a fitness center, a swimming pool, an open roof deck and multi-purpose function rooms. There will also be mobile phone charging stations powered by solar panels and Wi-Fi throughout the building.
Vista Plumeria is an investment that can be passed on from one generation to the next.
While the Vista Residences University Series properties are designed for the more “scholarly,” their size, affordability and locations make them just as perfect as homes for new families, yuppies, and those who work in the metro.
