How to Apply for a Schengen Visa

Europe has long been a popular travel destination for many people. European countries offer a wide range of travel experiences for both long and short trips, with their rich history, top-rated tourist destinations, and numerous scenic wonders. Although it is the second-smallest continent in the world, it is the ideal location for exploration, creating lifelong memories, and creating work opportunities.

Do you need a Schengen Visa to enter Europe?

To enter any of the Schengen Area nations, Filipino nationals must apply for a Schengen visa. Even if you are required to have a visa to enter Europe, once you arrive and present it to the immigration officials, you are free to travel anywhere in the 27 countries that make up the Schengen Area.

Simply submit an application for a Schengen visa at the embassy or consulate of the nation that serves as your main destination or where you will be staying the majority of the time.

You can travel between these nations without crossing any internal borders or border controls once you've entered a Schengen country.

What are the Schengen countries?

France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.
