History of New Manila
In 1937, New Manila was known as the "Hollywood of the Philippines" as it housed the headquarters of Sampaguita Pictures, one of the pioneering companies to produce original Filipino films. It was a place of fame and prestige, as it then became the address where people hoped to see famous people passing by.
New Manila is part of Quezon City. It spurs a vibrant future despite its poignant past. Newer developments are slowly replacing the mansions. The Second World War was a place of refuge for the wealthy families to flee from the chaos in the nation's capital at that time—allowing them to rebuild their homes and their lives. This area still holds the energy of stillness, a quiet sense of exclusivity for the residents. New Manila'sManila's character, charm and rich legacy make it a sought-after location by residents and developers alike.
At the time the Spaniards were still in the Philippines, the area called "New Manila" was devoid of any developments. Then part of the town of San Juan del Monte, the Spaniards took over Manila and established a seat of government in Intramuros. Every parcel of land outside the walled city, including what will eventually become New Manila, was taken under the ownership of the friars.
In the 1950s, the district lost its spark and was gradually outshined by other cities with gated and exclusive communities.
Only when the Americans came had the area been sold and was developed in the 1930s in the hands of a Lebanese elite, Doña Magdalena Hemady, who envisioned an exclusive residential site in the area—which was then named "Hacienda Magdalena."
After the eruption of World War II, it instantly became a residential area known as a place of refuge. The late former president Manuel Luis Quezon resided in one of the mansions around the room.
New Manila Now
New development projects are gradually spreading out. Quezon City has been known for its popular neighborhoods, and one of them is New Manila. Lamudi's website found the area one of the most searched neighborhoods as many developers try to bring back its shine, old allure, and rich legacy. This area is accessible to everything; at the same time, it still retained its exclusivity, which is sought-after by people living in busy cities just like Metro Manila. One yearns for a morning walk under the trees, a quiet time in a shady area while enjoying favorite drinks and the comfort of reading a book.

Why acquire a Condominium in Quezon City?
Quezon City is the most populous city in Metro Manila. Like all the cities in Metro, it has a plethora of cultural and ethnic backgrounds; it is said to be the center of the Philippine entertainment industry as it houses two major broadcasting stations in the Philippines. This means that the economic health of this city adds up to the value of a real estate investment.
The best talents can be found here as Quezon City is home to the top Universities in the Philippines. Multinational businesses thrive faster where talents are most available.
Why with Vista and not with other developers?
Vista Residences Inc. prides itself on being one of the top developers in the country. Investors choose these properties to access prime locations near commercial malls, retail, business hubs, and tourist attractions. The opportunity to live close to the best landmarks in Quezon City is a statement. It provides financial security to investors looking at real estate for the lucrativeness of rental income.
The properties by Vista are suitable for young professionals, startup families, and retirees who value convenience. Other properties by Vista Residences are located in other parts of the country, such as major cities in Metro Manila, Baguio City, Cagayan de Oro, and Cebu City.
All properties have their leasing arm that takes care of clients who prefer to capitalize on the rental income potential rather than making it a residential property. From reservation of properties to virtual viewing and payment processing, Vista made sure to optimize the use of mobile and digital banking to allow investors worldwide to catch up with the prices and growing demand.
Metro Manila has ongoing infrastructure projects that would ease traffic and propel the value of any real estate investment around the area. It is only sound that money is invested quickly towards a tangible property that could be passed on to one's children. This is how wise people take better care of their families. Instead of instant gratification of wants, just like the newest gadgets and other properties that depreciate so quickly, a condo in New Manila would undeniably increase its income potential over the years.
Filipinos are more aware of competing for financial freedom, and this is one of the ways rich people have been doing to make money as they sleep. Not all are born privileged, but everyone who had to climb up ladders had to start somewhere. Colonizers for free labor programmed Filipinos, and it's high time they saw more value in whatever they did by creating an avenue for financial growth. After all, wealth creation has been within reach since the digital era started—Filipinos only had to focus on the income potential technology brings and is already provided for.
