Spicy Baked Chicken Wings

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds of chicken wings, cut in half at joints; 
  • One tablespoon of baking powder; 
  • Two teaspoons of kosher salt; 
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin; 
  • 1 teaspoon paprika; 
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper; 
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder.

Directions: 

Preheat the oven to 250 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. In a large bowl, combine all the dry ingredients until well combined. Add the chicken wings and toss until well coated. Spread the chicken wings on the prepared baking sheet in one layer and bake until crisp and cooked through, about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Increase oven temperature to 425 degrees Fahrenheit and cook until skin is crispy, about 20 minutes more.
