Condo Tips: Things You Must Avoid Doing Again Next Year

Dec 30, 2021

Before you finally move forward to the next chapter of your lives, you must first close the habits that hinder you from being the best version of yourself. This year brought a lot of trials that really challenged your way; but despite everything that happened, there are also life lessons that you can bring with you. This article will discuss some of the condo tips that you can avoid doing this 2022.

Spending more time dwelling in the past and worrying about the future

The only time you can really have is the “present”; and spending your time thinking about the past and the future, will only stop you from seeing what is in front of you. Yes, it is good to look back, use the valuable lessons of your past, and prepare for your future. But if you allot more time on these instead of living in the present, you’ll see yourself missing moments worth cherishing.

Thinking it’s too late

Life is composed of unexpected events and things that are out of your control. The pandemic has shown everyone that no matter how much you plan and prepare in life, there will still be events that will cause delays to your journey in achieving your goal. But that does not mean that it is already too late for you to achieve your dreams. No matter how many times you fail, as long as you learn and get back up, you are capable of achieving anything you put your mind and heart to.

Trying to please everyone

You are not for everybody, and everybody is not for you. Devoting your time and energy trying to be the person that the people want you to be, only stops you from discovering the person you really are. This 2022, instead of focusing on what other people will think about you, focus more on what you want, your dreams, and aspirations in life. With that, you’ll see yourself a lot happier because this time you are pleasing yourself.

Constantly blaming others

Take charge of your own life and stop blaming other people for your own choices. Even though you are not in control of how people will see and treat you, you have a choice on how you will react or respond. Blaming others is a way of avoiding responsibility for your own life. Accept ownership of who you are and what you do; then you’ll see how easier it will be for you to make better decisions.

Avoiding mistakes

Trying not to make mistakes will hinder your growth. Making errors, taking risks, and allowing risks are all part of life. The only error that can actually harm you is to choose to live your life rather than avoid it.

Not taking a rest

Resting is just as important as working hard. Preventing yourself from resting and overdoing things can lead you to burnout. Always prioritize your health, this will help you to function better and be more efficient.

Not knowing when to let go

Whether it is career or relationship-related, you must always know when to let go or say goodbye. If you keep on holding on to things that only bring you down, you’ll probably end up losing yourself. Nothing is worth losing your self-worth. Do not be afraid to let go of people, places, and situations that are not for you.

Embracing the canceled culture

Not everyone is replaceable. Although the previous lesson is teaching you to let go, you also need to remind yourself that this does not mean canceling people and thinking they are not capable of growing. It is not your responsibility to stay until they learn how to be better and it’s also not for you to say that they can’t.

Keeping your feelings bottled up inside

Feelings are there to be expressed and not suppressed. If you have a habit of doing this, you’ll probably experience bursting out on little things or getting randomly sad without any specific reason. You can't expect to be heard or be helped if no one knows what you're thinking or what you need. Your feelings matter, let yourself feel and be heard.

Expecting people to know what you want instead of communicating

People are not mind-readers, stop assuming that people will understand what you want just because you have known each other for a long time. Communication is the best way to make any relationship work. Letting the other person know instead through clear words will also help you to manage your expectations.

Not setting healthy boundaries and disrespecting others’ boundaries

Boundaries are other not because you want to create a wall between other people, but this serves as a guide for other people of your limitations as a human. Not setting these boundaries will only lead you to people please and be less available for your own needs. Know what your limitations are and be clear on your boundaries with other people. When you establish this, please also understand that your boundaries are as important as the boundaries of other people. Be respectful with one another and you’ll see how your relationship will grow better.

Mindless spending

Being in the pandemic for almost 2 years already has taught everyone the importance of being mindful of where you invest your money to. Don't waste your money trying to impress others, and don't assume owning a lot of items is a sign of success. This 2022, try allotting more money on valuable investments that you can benefit from in the future. One of the things you can consider is investing in condos in the Philippines. You can either start living independently and enjoy the benefits of condo living or use the property as an asset that you can earn extra income.

Not practicing self-love or self-care

Everyone is always teaching people how to treat and love others, but no one really emphasizes the importance of doing the same for yourself. This 2022, you should start getting to know yourself and practice loving yourself. In this way, you will discover a lot of things about yourself and how worthy you are. You will start to live for yourself and stop being available for everyone because you’ll realize that you are an investment worth having.

Hopefully, this year 2022 will be a year for you to become a better version of yourself. Always remember that you are worth investing and you deserve things that are also worth having. Invest in things that you can benefit from just like condominiums. There are a lot of available condos worth having especially in business district locations like condos in Ortigas.
