The rising number of coronavirus cases has sparked worry and fear about a second wave of the pandemic which may be brought about by the sudden reopening of the economy and easing of stay-at-home orders.

Vista Residences, the condominium arm of the country’s largest homebuilder Vista Land & Landscapes, Inc., has tapped Environet Total Services, Inc. to work with the property management group, Globalland Property Management, Inc., to ensure the safety and well-being of its residents through thorough disinfection treatment and sanitation of its properties.
“Sanitation and maintenance have always been a matter of great importance for Vista Residences, more so now than ever and we are thankful for Globalland for making sure that health and safety protocols are being strictly implemented in all Vista Residences properties. As the number of COVID cases continues to go up day by day, we saw the need for regular and increased sanitation of properties”, says Elizabeth M. Kalaw, Chief Operating Officer of Vista Residences.
Globalland is on top of implementing precautionary measures to decrease the risk of disease transmission in all Vista Residences properties. Safety protocols being observed in all properties include “No Mask, No Entry” policy, mandatory thermal scanning and alcohol spraying, and social distancing measures in the elevator and the elevator lobby. Custodial staff are also well-equipped and protected with masks, face shield,s and gloves to ensure their safety.
“In addition to the regular cleaning schedules of our maintenance team, we did not hesitate to tap into the expertise of Environet to keep Vista Residences properties virus-free via regular disinfection treatment and sanitation,” shares Engr. Louie G. Guillarte, Operations Head, Globalland.
Environet deploys “sanitation experts” who provide disinfection services in all Vista Residences properties. They employ an all-natural, non-toxic solution of essential oils and juices that can kill viruses, prevent the buildup of molds and bacteria, and improve air quality in the building premises.

To minimize the risk of the virus, temporary operational changes have also been implemented which include the closure of common areas such as gym, pool, function hall, and lounge. Community events in these areas are also canceled or postponed.
Signage on safety protocols is mounted within the properties to make sure that everyone is well-informed and reminded of the guidelines. Residents and tenants are also now encouraged to practice contactless transactions to limit face to face contact with employees and other residents.
