Grace Magalona operated Cheesesteak in the 1980s, a well-liked eatery on Makati's Reposo Street. The Philadelphia sandwich was a success with foodies, who flocked to the café. Grace closed it down in 1997 to concentrate on raising her children despite its popularity. In April 2016, Grace relaunched the eatery under a new name and address. ROFL Sushi Restaurant

No one can tell that a fine-dining-kind-of-food like  sushi can be found along the restaurants in Katipunan!

The charming ROFL Sushi Restaurant will make you think of those Japanese alleyway shops. They offer reasonably priced Japanese food such as bento boxes, ramen, sushi, ebiten maki, and more along with free hot or cold green tea. If you have room for dessert, you must try their cheesecake.

Third Cup Café

Location: J&R Concon Center, 91 Rosa Alvero Street, Loyola Heights

Finding cafés that can very well become a preferred study space as it provides a certain level of comfort for students. A refuge for lovers of coffee and art, 55 Square Café and Vongarde Art Gallery is the newest addition to the array of restaurants in Katipunan. Kit Singson and Dan Villacruel, recent UP Fine Arts graduates, are the creators. To support Singson's advocacy of promoting Filipino produce, the café serves fourth-wave coffee, which is essentially artisanal coffee made more affordable while also fostering a feeling of community, using beans that are obtained directly from Bukidnon and the Cordilleras. Drink and eat while you peruse the gallery's exhibit of local artists who are just getting started.

The Study

Location: Katipunan Ave.

The premise of The Study will undoubtedly tickle your interest, but the food will have you coming back often. A delightful way to start the day is with their Stackers, red velvet pancakes with cream cheese frosting. They also have a Potato Bar where you can choose your own toppings and create your own potato dish with fries, wedges, mojos, and other options.

Originally, Patricia, Chuckie, Christian, and Chelsea Antonio planned to open a restaurant with rooms that resemble capsules that patrons could rent for gatherings or studies - and that is where it all begins.

There are tons of options available once you visit these streets near the university which definitely conclude that Ateneans will never get bored during a break for an hour or two .
