The year 2022 looks promising to provide the Netflix audience with some of the best Korean dramas. These new and upcoming dramas have received a lot of attention from the public, as well as high ratings and new cast members. It certainly looks like it's going to be a great year for Korean dramas. 

But if you're new to Korean dramas, beware: you'll become addicted. Heads up, practically all Korean dramas have bizarre plots, but that's part of what makes them so compelling. All you have to do now is learn to accept the weird and unexpected and enjoy the trip. Kdramas are addictive, and once you start watching them, you'll find it tough to quit.

Good storylines, heartfelt romances, distinct cultures, and a lot of comedy are all reasons for Kdrama addiction. They have succeeded in eliciting an emotional response from the audience, which indeed makes it perfect for your binge-watching sessions while condo living. Here are some of the best Korean dramas available and upcoming on Netflix, both original and not, to help you dive headfirst into this new and growing field of television.

All Of Us Are Dead 

South Korea is attempting another zombie series, All of Us Are Dead, this time set in a high school, after proving its mastery of the zombie genre with hits like Train to Busan and Kingdom. Same undead, new surroundings, and possibly fresh twists?

All of Us Are Dead is already proving to be a famous film among fans, combining the thrills of the zombie genre with survival themes similar to those seen in Squid Game. The Korean drama has also served as the first title on Netflix's Korean programming roster for 2022, updated with around 25 new titles.

It portrays a group of high school students who become trapped inside their school when a zombie-inducing illness spreads across the city. As the number of people sick grows, authorities declare a state of emergency and put the city under lockdown. The students fight to stay alive without phones, food, and adults to protect them.

Forecasting Love And Weather

Forecasting Love and Weather is a South Korean Netflix Original romantic comedy directed by Cha Young Hoon and written by screenwriters Kang Eun Kyung and Sun Young.

Park Min-young, a rom-com queen, and Song Kang, a Netflix regular, feature in this drama about the staff of Korea's national weather forecast service. Jin Ha-kyung (Park) prefers to separate her personal and professional lives, which has caused her to become estranged from most of her coworkers. When she is impressed by the clever new hire Lee Shi-woo (Song), his free-spirited nature begins to break down her barriers.

Forecasting Love and Weather, like other k-dramas, will contain a total of 16 episodes. Before the series finale on Sunday, April 3rd, 2022, all of the episodes will air over the course of eight weeks, with brand new episodes available on Saturdays and Sundays.

Juvenile Justice 

If you like watching Kdrama series that delve into society, Juvenile Justice is a good watch while condo living. It is about a judge who despises juvenile delinquents but who subsequently realizes the problems that youngsters face in society and how society is avoiding them in order to make them better individuals. Sim Eun-seok is played by Kim Hye-soo (Hyena, Signal), a dynamic judge newly appointed to a district with the most juvenile delinquency and makes unconventional judgments about prior judgments. Later, she tries to convey the point that society is partly to blame for adolescents' immoral and illegal behavior.

Thirty-Nine

For those who want to feel good and fall in love with a series while condo living, this series is a must-watch. Thirty-Nine is a real-life and romance drama that delves into the relationship, love, and lives of three friends approaching their forties. In high school, a chance meeting brought the three of them together to become BFFs. Cha Mi-jo (Son Ye-jin), Jeong Chan-young (Jeon Mi-do), and Jang Joo-hee (Kim Ji-hyun) are close friends who have shared both good and bad times. Mi-jo is now a dermatologist, Chan-young is an acting instructor, and Joo-hee works in the cosmetics sales department. When they are all 39, life takes a turn for the worse, and they must prepare to say their goodbyes.

Business Proposal

Want to take a break from working at home while condo living? Business Proposal is an office romance drama based on an internationally popular web novel and webtoon of the same name with over 320 million views. An office romance between a perfect CEO with both the beauty and the brains and an average employee who becomes his blind date will keep you from quitting! Shin Ha-ri (Kim Se Jeong) is an average employee who goes on a blind date in the guise of a sassy lady in place of a buddy, only to discover that her blind date is Kang Tae-moo, the CEO of her firm (played by Ahn Hyo-Seop). After running into one another on a blind date, they each struggle in their own manner at work as the CEO.

Twenty Five, Twenty One

Twenty-five, twenty-one is a drama about a group of young people who have lost their dreams due to the zeitgeist of 1998, a drama about their difficulty and growth. When they were twenty-two and eighteen, they yelled out each other's names for the first time. They're now twenty-five and twenty-one years old, respectively. They get butterflies as they walk the delicate line between a heart-fluttering first love and a heart-warming friendship. Their glistening love and progress, as well as the chemistry and difficulties among the five friends, remind us of our tumultuous yet lovely adolescence.

The Sound of Magic 

The Sound of Magic is a psychological K-Drama series based on Ha Il-webtoon Kwon's Annarasumanara, written by Kim Min Jeong and directed by Kim Seong-Yoon. 

Yoon Ah Yi, who was left by her parents owing to financial difficulties, now supports herself and her younger sister. Despite her part-time job and studies, Yoon Ah Yi is one of the best students at the school. Yoon Ha Yi's only ambition is to grow up as rapidly as possible in order to have a stable job, and when she tells the magician Lee Eul about her dream, her life is forever changed.

On some days, it seems as if there will never be enough time to watch all of the K-dramas that are available.
