The Cast of Hit Zombie Series 'All of Us are Dead' | Condo Tips

Feb 08, 2022

With 12 one-hour episodes, All of Us Are Dead is longer than most of the recent category K-drama offerings. The series, which is based on a webtoon of the same name, makes good use of narrative space, keeping viewers guessing as to how this seemingly hopeless scenario will be resolved by the end of the series. So if you haven't watched this hit series yet, this is your time to open your phone or laptop, stream, and chill, especially if you are living in a condo in the Philippines, an apartment, or having your own room making your space dim with lights, it is the perfect atmosphere for this thriller high school zombie series. As this new zombie series has been the talk of the town and even on social media platforms, many have expressed their opinion and reviews regarding the series as the adaptation dives headfirst to the root of the zombie apocalypse. Just imagining the realistic setting of zombies encounter your home or condo living area will give you goosebumps and thrill, this is the effect of the hit series making it on top in barely a week after its premiere, All Of Us Are Dead has already gained the number one spot on Top 10 series in the Philippines!

Each episode had us on the edge of our seats and at the same time, the great acting of the characters made the series more realistic which kept us wondering where we saw the actors in other dramas. Let’s talk about the cast of this hit series and where we might have seen them before.

Park Ji Hu as Nam On Jo

Have you heard of top-tier survival skills? Jo has that because her father is a firefighter! She may not perform well in tests, but you can depend on her in the event of a zombie apocalypse. On Jo aided the group not only in surviving but also in recognizing what was most vital under the direst of circumstances.

Did you know that Park Ji Hu was a high school student when she filmed All Of Us Are Dead, just like her character? She's already proven that she was born to be a celebrity at such a young age! Ji Hu has previously starred in films such as House Of Hummingbird and The Witness, as well as the K-dramas Beautiful World and Sweet Revenge 2.

Yoon Chan Young as Lee Cheong San

He is On Jo's childhood friend and next-door neighbor, Cheong San, who has also developed his feelings for her. He is willing to help and sacrifice himself for the sake of his friends' lives. Cheong San's mother owns a chicken restaurant in his honor, and although being a little ashamed about it, he adores her.

Yoon Chan Young is only 20 years old, but he has already appeared in 19 K-dramas and eight films! Dr. Romantic in which he played a younger version of Yoo Yeon Seok and Doctor John are two examples where he takes the role of high school student Lee Gi Seok. He was cast in the rom-com drama Still 17, too!

Cho Yi Hyun as Choi Nam Ra

Nam Ra is the class president as well as a good student at Hyosan High School, they all call her Pres. We've seen her true compassion for others later in the program, despite her being cold and aloof in the first few episodes, you'll often see her studying with her earbuds on.

Cho Yi Hyun's transformation from bubbly intern in Hospital Playlist to a badass class president in All Of Us Are Dead has left us speechless. If you recall, she portrays Jang Yun Bok, who has a twin brother named Jang Hong Do in the medical drama. Yi Hyun was likewise cast as Park Ye Rin in School 2021 which is her first starring role, and she, like Yun Bok, has a bright personality.

Park Solomon as Lee Su Hyeok

Su Hyeok is known among his friends as Baresu because he dislikes wearing socks. He's a courageous athlete who is willing to take on any challenge, which is why he didn't hesitate when they were going to combat the undead. This guy is always ready to throw a punch and save his friends! Su Hyeok has feelings for Nam Ra but he's shy to admit this since they're quite the opposite in class.

The last time we've seen him is in the 2017 drama Sweet Revenge where Cho Yi Hyun was also a cast member. Solomon, or Lomon, also appeared in Lookout, Shopping King Louis, and Doctors.

Yoo In Soo as Yoon Gwi Nam

A notorious bully in Hyosan High School, Gwi Nam is the last person you'd trust during a zombie outbreak. You can never be too confident of his motives, whether you're close to him or not. But behind his evil exterior, Gwi Nam is just an errand boy of the school's main bullies.

This isn't the first time Yoo In Soo has played a villain in a K-drama. We can't question that he's great at depicting antagonists or evil characters, despite the fact that he typically gets them. Love Alarm, Moments At Eighteen, My ID Is Gangnam Beauty, and Strong Woman Do Bong Soon are just a few of the popular programs in which In Soo has appeared.

Lee Yoo Mi as Lee Na Yeon

Na Yeon is another character from All Of Us Are Dead who gave us a headache and made our blood boil. She is despised in class because she is a well-off student who is selfish, fussy, and judgmental. Her words are not only like knives, her actions are vile, too.

After making us cry as Player 240 in Squid Game, Lee Yoo Mi messed with our emotions in All Of Us Are Dead by transforming into a completely new character. This simply implies she's a phenomenal actress who can pull off any part. Watch 365: Repeat The Year, Doctor John, and Hwayi: A Monster Boy if you want to see more of her variety.

Ham Sung Min as Han Gyeong Su

If we only have one buddy left, we want it to be Gyeong Su because he'll go to great lengths for his friends. He comes from an impoverished family and wants to work part-time at Cheong San's mother's chicken restaurant.

Ham Sung Min has been acting since 2005, and we're sure you've seen him in some of your favorite shows thanks to his extensive list of K-dramas and films. The actor has starred in Sweet Home, Love Alarm, Tunnel, and Goblin to name a few.

All of Us Are Dead is a satisfying and frightening series to watch, although there are several aspects that may be improved. It's a massive contribution to the zombie apocalypse genre in all of its gruesome grandeur, with a fresh take on how a young adult would respond in a calamity and with the role played by this amazing actor and actresses, this series gained popularity in many countries and become the newest hit in different platforms.
