The Newly Elected President

The Philippines is turning its way to the newest President, Bong Bong Marcos, the 17th president in line as he is now turning in from the last administration, the 16th president, Rodrigo Duterte. In line with this, the Inauguration of presidents is only foreseen every six years. The Family of Marcos' has not been new to the implementation of politics and its presidency as the Bong Bong Marcos' father, the late Ferdinand Marcos, has been the 10th president of the Republic of The Philippines.

17th President of the Republic of the Philippines' Inauguration

As said, the Republic of the Philippines shall only have the liberty to elect a new president every six years, thus enabling their best abilities and strategic plans for the newly elected to impose its decisions for a better environment in the Philippines. The Inauguration shall be turned over every 30th of June; the 1987 Philippine Constitution mandates this. Every elected member must turn over to the following newly elected member.

The Inauguration itself shall be open for its newly elected President with its oath or affirmation before they shall be able to execute one's duty to the country. The gathering is usually open to the public to show its support for the newest elected member and broadcast to everyone as the next presidency shall be taking its promises towards all Filipinos involved. The Inauguration has started with its oath-taking ceremonies and now has expanded to its day-long events catering to parades, speeches, and balls.

The Inauguration of the presidency is a way to let its supporters show the given encouragement they have given in electing the next in line for the presidency. The newly elected President could also use this liberty to thank and name all his directions towards the betterment of the country. It is a celebration to fully commence the end and the beginning of a new president in our country.

The Past Inauguration of the 16th President of the Philippines

Rodrigo Duterte is currently the 16th President elected. He will be passing the presidency to the newest elected, Bong Bong Marcos, during its Inauguration on the 30th of June. The photo illustrates that Rodrigo Duterte is currently accompanied by his sons and daughters to fulfill his oath-taking in front of the Associate Justice of the Philippines Supreme Court of Bienvenido L. Reyes, the administering oath. This was also held in the Rizal Ceremonial Hall, Malacanang Palace, Manila, where the current President shall be sitting in his office. With that in mind, the whole ceremony was filled with respect for the late and past President Rodrigo was taking over and was filled with talks and performances by different national artists. As this was held in the City of Manila, the Manila City has taken over with its protocols in ensuring the safety of the incoming President and the traffic flow surrounding the Malacanang Palace.
