Vaccine Registration Sites Near your Condo

Sep 09, 2021

Since the World Health Organization (WHO) declared Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) as a pandemic last year, cases continued to rise and deaths showed no signs of slowing down. Everyone can be infected and no one was excluded. However, there’s always a light at the end of the tunnel.

Since 2020, vaccine development has accelerated through unprecedented cooperation between the multinational pharmaceutical industry and governments. By June 2020, companies, governments, international health organizations, and university research teams invested tens of billions of dollars to develop dozens of candidate vaccines and prepare for the global vaccination plan to combat COVID-19 infection.

As of August 2021, there are a total of 8 approved vaccines in the Philippines. This includes Pfizer BioNTech, Oxford Astrazeneca, Corona Vac (Sinovac), Sputnik V, Johnson and Johnson’s Janssen, Bharat Biotech, Sinopharm, and Moderna.

Who is eligible for vaccination in the Philippines?

There are three categories divided into A, B, and C.

The A category includes Workers in Frontline Health Services, All Senior Citizens, Persons with Comorbidities, Frontline personnel in essential sectors, including uniformed personnel, and the Indigent Population.

For the B category, it includes: Teachers, Social Workers, Other Government Workers, Other Essential Workers, Socio-demographic groups at significantly higher risk other than senior citizens and poor population based on the NHTS-PR, Overseas Filipino Workers, and Other Remaining Workforce

And lastly, the rest of the Filipino population not otherwise included in the above groups are included in category C.

Where to register for vaccination?

There are several ways for citizens to get registered. In some places and local government units, a person must go to the nearest municipal hall or barangay health centers to register and book a schedule.

For some cases, there is also an online or internet-based registration process via their local government unit’s initiative. After the registration, it will be followed by a health screening to assess a person’s medical condition. After the health screening, a registered person is now ready for vaccination.

Make sure to visit each of the local government’s websites and social media accounts to be updated on the registration process.

Ever since the pandemic started, it brought so many changes in people’s lives. May it be from getting another job, changing schools, and even moving out from their home. Finding a new home is a hard thing to do, considering the many factors that can affect one’s living.

Because of the pandemic, most Filipinos' lifestyles changed. Those who are working outside their homes tend to be extra careful when going home, afraid that they will be passing down the virus to their loved ones.

Although some of them are deciding to move out temporarily to avoid risking the threat of COVID 19. With that, finding a condominium may suit their current situation, here’s why:

Convenience

Walking for so long and commuting might be a hassle, so it is better to find a place where convenience is evident. When looking for a home, consider the proximity of any potential home to your workplace, the charm of the community, the location of the home on the lot, ease of entry and exit, noise from neighbors, traffic, and pets. Accessibility to parks, stores, schools, and public transportation.

Security and Safety

Of course, a person or family would rather sleep in peace 24/7 rather than waking up to someone entering your doors. Having a secured location for their homes ensures the safety of everyone.

Amount of Space

Think carefully about the space you will be needing. Living in a comfortable space will make your lifestyle and work better.

This pandemic situation forces everyone to stay at their homes. Having amenities like a study area, gym and swimming pool might ease their dull moments.
